George Welch, Musical Director. George was the conductor of the nationally acclaimed Salt Lake Symphonic Choir for 31 years. With his fine tenor George sang in operas and musical productions including Madame Butterfly, Trial By Jury, Il Tabaro, Once Upon a Mattress, My Fair Lady, and The Music Man. He conducted the New America Symphony Orchestra at the Winter Olympics in 2002, was guest conductor for the Salt Lake Symphony, Utah Symphony, Idaho Symphony, Berkley, CA, Symphony and British Columbia Symphony.
